Unity Diner is guilt-free dining at its best, allowing you to enjoy delicious vegan takes on classic American dishes, safe in the knowledge that all profits are donated to the welfare of animals.
We were blown away by the realistic texture of the “steak” – and the flavour was excellent, too.
Incredible food and good vibes. On the pricier end though so maybe save this place for a celebration or if you’re only visiting London for a short while!!
They are famous for the 3D printed steak which was delicious but it was £25 (plus £3 for the vegan egg AND whatever service charge you pay on the meal) and it didn’t properly fill me up😬 Delicious though.
Amazing diner run as a not for profit company, they support the Surge sanctuary, they donate a share of the service charge, the remainder is shared amongst the staff to boost their wages and they really work for it, I rarely leave a tip these days but on this occasion I didn’t feel like the service charge was enough! A colleague recommended coming here, I took my fiance for date night, well worth the travelling, we arrived at 9pm after pre booking. I’m a massive carnivore but my partner is a devout vegan. I usually expect to make do with something that hasn’t got broccoli or spinach, not this time. A comprehensive menu, many choices from tofish to cod to steak and chips and all vegan! I had the steak and tried the fish I can’t believe how tasty it was, perfect texture and cooked so well. We didn’t wait long at all, considering the meals we had, the food arrived in good time. The staff were beyond great so friendly and natural like they were hosting a dinner party at home, I felt very comfortable and welcome even after everyone else had left and they were still waiting for us, we didn’t feel rushed at all. I can’t recommend this place enough! Also noted that kids eat free during summer. Check out the menu, you won’t be disappointed. I used the toilet whilst there, they were clean and well stocked. We drove and parked across the road (free after 6pm, on the right side of the road) and no congestion charge after 6pm either.
Heard this is one of the best vegan spots to dine in London. I was soooo pleased with Unity! Out of our entire weekend in London, this was hands down the best vegan meal we had!
The service was very friendly & warm & just a chill vibe. It was really nice.
The vegan “fish” & chips was amaaaazing! I was afraid it would be fishy but it really wasn’t! Super crispy & warm & battered to perfection! So comforting on a chilly day! The chips (French fries) were also super crispy & perfect. The tartar sauce with the fish? INSANE 🥹 My partner got the loaded mac n cheese bowl & loved every single bite!
Super high quality & amazing food here!
A MUST -visit for vegans. Anyone just wanting good food such as Non-vegans alike will also enjoy it!
Have been wanting to try Unity Diner since forever and I can honestly say it didn’t disappoint!!
I ordered the Tofish and Chips with mushy peas and tartare sauce and it was the best “fish” I’ve experienced in all the years of being vegan. Excellent texture, great flavor (not too fishy for those that don’t like that) and the chips and peas were excellent.
Lovely, friendly service. I can see why so many people put Unity at the top of their favourite list!
Also has burgers, salads, small plates, desserts so plenty of options!
