Urban Cafe / Bar / Kitchen – Jewellery Quarter

1. Delightful light lunch and coffees here, in a warm and comfy setting. The Classic Bennie bap £8.95 and the soup of the day £6.95 were delicious. The sun was shining on our faces and it was bliss. Coffees were nice but a bit dear I thought £4.10 and it’s 50p extra for decaf.

2. The food and coffee mostly hit the mark, but inconsistent service can really affect the overall experience. That can be a bummer, especially if you’re enjoying the flavors but the wait time or attentiveness isn’t quite there, there is always room for better customer service!

3. Really lovely and bright spot in the JQ.

   Great for people watching and remote working with some delicious although slightly expensive food items.

   Lovely friendly staff and very relaxed vibe with some cheerful dogs warming up every visit!

4. Managed to find a table on a busy Saturday lunchtime. I chose the Cypriot Eggs Bennie and my son loved his dark chocolate and blood orange pancakes. My husband went for the Halloumi and Avo Bap. As there was a chai latte on the menu, I naturally had this and really enjoyed it. Good menu and would visit again to try out other dishes on it

5. We came in for a late brunch. Now we ordered 2 veggie breakfasts, pancakes with maple syrup, 2 extra toast and 2 drinks total £58, personally thats very expensive . Our breakfast were very very poor in flavour, also I had to send mine back as I found hair in the mushrooms. Pancakes was very hard, home made beans was awful lacked flavour. Waited like 50minutes for our breakfast to arrive. When I sent my breakfast back because of the hair at this point I lost my appetite, as we had a pushchair with us, the waitress served hot food over the pushchair with our child in, which annoyed me very much, careless of her to do this. I was offered bottle drinks as a complementary gesture. Experience was very disappointing. Unfortunately will not be returning anytime soon.
