#VeganThai
So nice to see somewhere with so many vegan options in Camden Market. Vegan Thai had lots of delicious options it was hard to choose! The mixed platter was delicious, you can choose noodles and rice and what spice. It had spring rolls, gyoza, noodles, vegan chicken and tofu it was delicious. Spicy and loads of sauce. A huge portion for £12.
Great thai food! It is in a small alley based between the 2 streets. I had pad thai and it was delicious!
I had the mixed platter today, with noodles, gyoza, spring rolls, tofu and sauce. I really enjoyed it and will definitely come again when back in London. Large portion, I was full and struggled to finish. Would recommend this market area overall as there are at least 5 vegan only food stalls here and if you struggle to convince omni’s to come to vegan only restaurants here shouldn’t be a problem as there’s plenty of choice for everyone and you can all sit together in one of the seating domes which are dotted around the market.
I wandered around Camden market with a friend but couldn’t decide because everything looked so good. I eventually chose this stall because the food looked so good and unique (it’s hard to get good vegan Asian food!). What I got was the best pad Thai I’ve had my entire life. So good that I came back alone two days later just to get more. I’m not even vegan!
In case I haven’t spouted enough rhetoric, I’ve had experiences in the past where I ate restaurant/take out food for lunch and dinner for months on end (paid for by work). So, I’ve tried a lot of food, both in London and the US, and probably eaten every cuisine. The food here is far above average in quality and below average price. This stall makes me incredibly happy to live near Camden, and I would totally not be against literally donating in tips to keep it here.
for £9 it’s not bad. it’s not the most revolutionary pad thai i’ve ever had, but it’ll do the trick. the tofu is extremely good, i’d eat a whole bowl of just that. it’s a good portion size for the price, especially compared to everything else that is around.
