Nice friendly restaurant, we were a booked group for a birthday, 12 in the end, we sat downstairs which was quieter than upstairs as it was busy & noisy, but took a little atmosphere away, but talking was easier.
Food arrived together which was good, only 2 starters which was easy, cocktails & mocktails were good, food was good/nice/ok but not great, a couple of dishes were wrong but were accepted & allowed for.
Service was a little slow, maybe if using downstairs there should be a member of staff for downstairs?
Staff were very accommodating with the birthday cake with plates etc.
Overall definitely recommended, a few little improvements would make it great!
Very friendly service. The place was full and we hadn’t booked a table. We got served on the terrace and even having a baby with a pushchair, we didn’t get any lesser service. Pizza was a bit oily but otherwise, very tasty.
I had a lovely experience at this restaurant. Although I felt a bit nervous as I was dining alone, both waiters I interacted with made me feel so comfortable in the restaurant. They both interacted with me often to ensure my food and drinks were to my liking, we talked about the book I was reading and also about Bournemouth. The food was also great and I told the waiter that the pasta I had was better than the one I had in Venice. The place is also greatly decorated with interesting decorations on walks and ceiling, and just overall a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely go again if I visit Bournemouth.
The best Italian in Bournemouth! So so delicious, lovely staff and great service. I’ve had two pizzas which were an amazing size & super tasty. Always busy so make sure you book in advance. Only downside – the arancini portion.
We came here for dinner, family of 5, 3 generations. I selected it based on the view is others ant we we pleased to find this restaurant. AMAZING food quality, though it is a little pricey – but worth the price. We had kids meal for 2 year old grandson, with us 4 adults having 2 x baked prawns and 2 x meatballs starter. I had the mushroom tagliatelle, which was good size and very tasty, the other 3 adults had pizzas – with our 35 year old daughter, who always chooses pizza, saying it was, quote, “probably the BEST pizza she has has I her life!!” She said the home made bread base was so light and the tomato covering the base was delicious, plus cheese and chicken topping.
We completely recommend this restaurant.
