The atmosphere at Villa Vinci is warm and inviting. The staff were exceptionally friendly and provided excellent service. The food was generally tasty, with many dishes showcasing fresh ingredients. However, the lasagne felt a bit heavy on the cheese and could have benefited from a few more layers of pasta. Despite this minor quibble, I’d still recommend Villa Vinci for a pleasant meal out.
Dropped in after the Irish Open Golf as we’d been walking all day, We hadn’t booked but they managed to fit the 4 of us in, service was slick and friendly. The food was excellent and freshly prepared, pizza and pasta were great.
Wow! We had a great, authentic Italian meal. We went to Italy for 7 weeks last year, and this meal compares favorably. The Mediterranean pizza was fantastic – real Parma ham and fresh burrata. Do yourself a favor and order goat cheese as an extra topping – wonderful flavor bomb. The papprdelle with beef and mushrooms was really tasty – large portion too. The side salad was more than just lettuce and dressing, and was enough for two. Good wine selection – by the glass or bottle. The creme brulee was good, not great. The service could have better in terms of clearing the table of used glasses and plates. Overall, highly recommended. Make a reservation.
Went for lunch on a Monday, hence the 3 stars for the atmosphere. Thr seafood pasta did not disappoint, and neither did the beef pasta. The service was good too.
Everytime we visit Newcastle, we eat here.
Friendly service, good food. Reasonable prices. Kids meals £8. Mains abouts £15-20.
