Wawin Vegan Chinese (York)

1. completely satisfied with the portion and taste of the food. But It took longer time to deliver than expected time its almost one hour. Bit unsatisfied because I received cold Food though its fresh. Overall Food is tasty and because I am a vegetarian person its perfect for my taste.

2. Had alright experiences in the past with take out from here, however tonight my boyfriend bought us a takeout and we ordered a pudding which is meant to come with some kind of custard thing. The custard was MOULDY. Hard with green mould growing all over it. We also ordered mains, both of which just tasted like their sweet and sour sauce but super spicy, even though we didn’t order sweet and sour! They were bright red and were just a few chunks of fake meat and onion swimming in overly-strong sauce. Don’t think I’ll buy from here again which is a shame as it’s hard finding all-vegan Chinese restaurants. 🙁

3. The best vegan chinese food restaurant in York. If you are into Vegan foods then this is a must try. Every item we have tasted here has always been upto the point. Very good taste and portion size. Must try for anyone in York or coming here.

4. Im not vegan but my friend is and she recommended this place. I cannot describe the cognitive dissonance of eating this and it being vegan, it was amazing. The menu was like you would find at any Chinese restaurant. Massive portions. Food was incredible especially the fake chicken. Salt and pepper chips were spicier than expected but really tasty.

5. I absolutely love this place! Despite the fact I am not a vegan myself, I prefer Wawin Chinese to the standard. The staff working are always super polite ( front of house staff and delivery drivers) I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough! 🍜
