Wayland’s Yard Coffee & Brunch

1. Really positive! Great menu choices with enough choice for small, big (and huge) appetites. Staff are really attentive; basically awesome. Now, if you’re after a nourishing salad bowl – this is not the place for you. But if it’s eggy crumpets, thick hash browns and a full English – this is the Yard for you.

   P.S. ignore the mayo, I was given the most delicious chilli jam moments later.

2. I found Wayland’s Yard through a Google search for great pancakes nearby, and I was impressed!
   Though, I had better waffles at Chancer’s Cafe, and I can’t wait to go back.
   The portions at Wayland’s are generous, quite filling and the pancakes were soft and flavorful. The bacon was perfectly cooked and juicy, while the beans took me back to my childhood Saturday mornings. 🥞🥓🍳

   We each tried two drinks, and I particularly enjoyed the warm apple chai. It had a nice tang and cinnamon kick, though I’d prefer it served a bit hotter.

   The ginger tea was also very refreshing. ☕
   Overall, I’m thrilled to find a place that serves fluffy pancakes along with sustainable tea and coffee. I’ll definitely be going back to try some more food from the menu. I recommend!

   Oh! They’re pet friendly too, the customer on the table next to ours had a guide dog. 🐶♿

3. This café stands out with its delicious brunch and exceptional coffee. The stylish and comfortable interior creates a welcoming atmosphere, and the friendly, attentive staff enhance the overall experience. It’s a great spot for enjoying quality food and drinks.

4. Lovely venue, we arrived Saturday morning at 9:30 and it was quite empty. Filled up a bit as we ate. We had Turkish eggs and coffee. Very good value although not a huge meal. Staff were great. Overall, strongly recommend for breakfast.

5. Great food for a great price, the staff are always very fun and approachable. It’s a perfect place to go for breakfast to either hang out with friends, go on a date or go to get some work done.

   This place has now become one of my go to spots for breakfast while I’m in Birmingham.

   Would highly recommend visiting if you haven’t already
