Wheelhouse

1. I have been working in the area for a few days, and have eaten here several times. The staff are always welcoming and pleasant. The food is amazing value.

2. I have been a few times now, staff are always friendly and good with advice on sugars in drinks. Great atmosphere, lovely customers.

3. The Wheelhouse, operated under the Greene King brand, offers reliable food and drinks that are served promptly and at an affordable price.

   I visited The Wheelhouse with a large group on a weekend, arriving much earlier than our reservation time. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, allowing us to stay and catering to our needs for an extended period.

   As with other Greene King venues, I encountered issues with the mobile app. Specifically, when ordering burgers, the app required an upgrade option for fries but only allowed “no” as a response. This forced our group to order directly from the bar. The staff were proactive in addressing the issue, taking a photo of the problem and ensuring our orders were corrected.

   The Wheelhouse also offers classic pub activities such as darts and pool, which, though I did not use them, appeared to be in good condition.

   Overall, our experience was enjoyable. The venue wasn’t overly noisy, and we had ample space to comfortably wait for the rest of our group. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to play a few card games while we waited.

   In summary, The Wheelhouse provides a pleasant and accommodating atmosphere, despite minor issues with the app. I would recommend it for both small and large gatherings.

4. We have just had a meal here. The food was great the beer was great and it’s very dog friendly.
   The staff are so friendly and helpful and a real credit to the company.
   Will definitely be going back there.
