We travelled from Grimsby and found this place to go to while my husband was getting tattooed locally. Fab service and selection and the owner was lovely. My eldest daughter is gluten free ans she loved being able to have donuts that weren’t just your typical baked option for gluten free x
I couldn’t resist travelling out of my way a little when I heard about this place and I certainly wasn’t disappointed! It’s hard to believe everything is Gluten Free here when it looks and tastes so good!
Took some cake away but statues to enjoy a toastie, quiche and a cup of coffee 🥰
Whether you are Gluten Free or not you will certainly enjoy the food 🙂
Delicious 🤩🤤 I’ve been looking for a good gluten free cupcake and the coffee and walnut didn’t disappoint. Wildcraft is the first time I’ve come across gluten free doughnuts that are actually doughnuts rather than cake disguised as a doughnut. Really delicious and indulgent – the Biscoff flavour was amazing.
Really sweet little place, bakery items were to die for with a really good selection! A little basic inside but lovely calm atmosphere, good selection of flavoured syrups for hot drinks too! Purchased a couple of extra items to take away and were kind enough to box them up nicely for us
I wanted to support local but I was so disappointed. I went in and although it was quick the service wasn’t the best. I understand from replies to other reviews that the staff are neurodivergent and although I commend the cafe for supporting this as someone who is also neurodivergent I felt unwelcome and there was no ‘warmth’ there.
I’ll start with the good; the coffee is nice and reasonably priced. The bad part is the food. I ordered a toastie which came out wet and soggy, had barely any filling and was just a bit sad. For £7.50 I expected a lot more. The best thing on the plate was the salad in all honesty. I then decided to get 2 doughnuts to takeaway and just wow. I’ve never had doughnuts this bad. They were hard, dry and so overly sweet. For the price I expected so much more. (This isn’t because it’s gluten free, a member of my family is celiac and I’m well versed with how gluten free products have improved in the last few years. It’s just not very good compared to whats on the market)
The whole thing cost me £18.70 for a coffee, a toastie and 2 doughnuts. I can honestly say I probably won’t go back. The coffee is fine but everything else is overpriced and poor quality.
