YO! Cardiff St David’s

1. Despite silly numbers of people in Cardiff for the Billy Joel concert, we only had a short wait to eat. The food was delicious, freshly prepared with fresh ingredients. The staff were lovely despite being under a lot of pressure

2. Although the food tasted nice the portions are ridiculously small and overpriced. Raman was £15 and was half a bowl. The noodles were in a tiny bowl (the black bowl next to it is the soy sauce dish for size reference) I’m more than happy to pay for decent food but being ripped off is a different story.

3. Love the vibe here! “Take what you want when you want” is a great experience and one I thoroughly recommend. It was so fun figuring out what the different plates were and trying new things I wouldn’t normally go for! Cant fault the service either, the staff were really attentive and helpful in walking you through the process

4. The staff were excellent and polite.
   Sadly, the sushi was one of the poorest quality I have had in the UK.
   It was chewey and didn’t have any taste.

5. Had a lovely family meal at Yo last night. The service was great – friendly and quick. And the food fresh and tasty. It’s been a while since we have been to a Yo Sushi and the menu has changed quite a bit – we really liked the new additions plus some old favourites.
