Yorks Cafe – Ikon Gallery

1. Called in for breakfast. Our servers Baeley and Millie were great and very attentive. The food was fabulous and there was a very lively atmosphere.

2. Quality gone down a lot👎🏻I used to loved yorks and buy their beans. However, visited this branch twice this week. I had a soya latte which you can see the latte art on top is awful and didn’t foam well(I wouldn’t serve this tbh if I made this.) The second time I had a oat cappuccino as you can see the cup is not full and just look like
   coffee from a vending machine and taste blanch and sour. It’s not worth £4.50 at all. I can see some other reviews saying the quality has gone down as well. There is much better place and independent shop to support so no more yorks.

3. I expected more from Yorks as I am a fan of the branch. However, the coffee portions are much smaller than any other cafe i’ve been to! Barely enough for a caffeine kick! A pathetic portion of tea as well. Very overpriced for what you get. There’s nothing groundbreaking about the coffee flavour or techniques. I’m disappointed with the cost not matching the quality.

   The service was good and the location and seating is nice, there is a brunch menu available. Honestly i won’t be coming to Yorks for coffee again as it’s money down the drain. There’s plenty of other cafes you can visit in Birmingham that are more bang for your buck.

4. The food was really delicious and the room pretty. There are a lot of vegan options. The staff was also very friendly. I recommend this cafe.

5. Had a brunch here on Saturday and enjoyed a good time. It was kinda busy with only two waiters but didn’t wait for too long. The dark chocolate was absolutely amazing which got me impressed and the Chicago honey chicken was not bad as well. Love the vibe here I’ll def come back with friends.
