#Blinkers
The reason why my friends and I went to Blinkers was that it was used as a film location for the Irish TV show “Derry Girls”. We had breakfast and were all amazed how delicious the Ulster Fry was! I especially loved the potatoe bread! The picture shows the Large Fry where you get 2 of each with extra beans and mushrooms.
We really liked the diner atmosphere and were pleased that the place has such a long history. The staff was also very friendly. Next time, I want to try out the rest of the menu!
Unreal food. Got a full soda with bacon, sausage and black pudding. The single best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Definitely recommend and I’ll be back in December hopefully.
Really annoyed as the reason I came into this restaurant was for the sourdough bread BLT with chipotle dip and instead I got white pan bread with no dip with super watery tomatoes which made the sandwich not taste good. I asked for iced water to drink I got water with two small ice cubes dropped in it so by the time it came to drinking it the water was warm again. The item I ordered is attached to this review as it was advertised outside. Considering it was advertised out front you would expect them to adhere to it. I don’t think iced water is too difficult to make either. Will definitely not be returning to this location not worth the cash.
I took the veggie Fry. It was delicious. I would have liked a bit more beans. Unfortunately, it is very loud due to the many customers.
Excellent service and an all round good cafe.
All nicely cooked and the staff is super friendly
