  1. Artisan quality pastries served with a smile. There is a wonderful authentic feel in the bakery as you get to watch the chefs bring out fresh delights.

Not very good seating, understandably. Also, limited accessibility access due to the stairs, but I’m sure they may be able to accommodate service.

On the more expensive side, but you definitely get what you pay for here.

  2. Absolutely incredible bakery. We tried it on the last of our 10 days in Bristol. So bummed we didn’t find it sooner. I’m sure our bank account and waistline appreciate it though. I got 3 different pastries and my partner did the same—-some were still warm. I’d like to say I spread them out over multiple sittings/day but all were gone within a couple hours.

  3. It’s our favourite first pit stop when we arrived In Bristol. Located just where the Flixbus drop-off and pick up point at Bond St, we always look forward to picking up something appetizing here after the awful airline food. This morning we had the roasted apricot & panela gallette, which was so good that we had a second! The toasted oat with raspberry soft serve was also refreshing.

  4. As it says in the name, more of a bakery than a cafe so it isn’t designed for lingering, more of a get&go. There was a hefty queue at 10am on Saturday so be prepared to wait 10/15 minutes first before ordering. Their babka & honey almond was damn delicious. There’s about 10 seats inside & out. Staff were delightful.

  5. Best bakery in the UK.

Exceptional coffee and pastries. Consistent tasty lattes. I’ve tasted almost all their pastry offerings multiple times — kouign amann, west country queen (absolutely delicious), babka, honey almond, pastel de nata, choux bun. Quality is consistent. Taste and texture is phenomenal especially their kouign amann and west country queen. To die for.

In the summer, they serve soft serves. Had the creme fraiche and cheddar strawberries in May, and I think something apricot in June. Amazingly good that we’ve named our summer morning runs “Farro run and dine” where we start at Farro and end at Farro with the promise of Farro’s delicious soft serves.

Queues can be long, but it’ll be worth it. I would rather be late to a meeting then giving up on a Farro queue.

Did I mention they’re the best bakery in the UK?
