Hatch

1. Went in for lunch twice now. The burger & loaded fries were really good. Not a super long wait either which was great and I’ll definitely be back again to try something else.

   The brisket Wrap was really good and the fries are nice and crispy with a little salt.

2. Brekkie, that’ll give you that kick up the arse you need to start your day! I went with their breakfast wrap that had the perfect touch of spiciness. Gorgeous! The place was super busy, and I can see why! Prices have increased significantly to the images above (such is life)… but still worth the £8.95 I paid for this tasty tongue-tingler mini-feast 😋

3. Cosy joint with reasonable burgers. I wish it had less mayonnaise together with cheesy sauce as it made the beef flavour drown in it.

   The price is a little steep (£9) for a single burger and no sides, could be better value.

4. A cosy wee cafe with very friendly staff and a calming atmosphere. Their coffee was excellent, as was their large Hatch Breakfast with perfectly poached eggs upon sourdough, adorned with crumbled black pudding. Beautifully presented on the plate, an indicator denoting pride in their work. Highly recommended.

5. Friendly staff, Madri on tap which I was not expecting, served in cold glasses. Recommend the Asian beef fries. Definitely lifted our mood after a gloomy day in the Royal.
