1. first time ordering from here last week, ended up revisiting for a second takeaway just two days later….its that good! Nicest Chinese takeaway I’ve had in ages, easy to see why it’s Merthyrs highest rated on Google! Keep up the good work (and food)!

2. Brilliant, it’s definitely one of the best in Merthyr. The food is just fresh, tastes great and its not greasy or to sweet or salty like other Chinese. Its been our go to since they opened. Never had a bad meal.

3. Best Chinese ever! We came from Yorkshire to visit BPW and spent 2 hours trying to choose a takeaway, not knowing the area and not wanting to be disappointed. Saw Hong Shan recommended on FB lots so gave it a try and I’ve not stopped thinking about it since. Thank God I’m coming back to BPW next month for another fix. The food was amazing, everything we ordered was delicious. I’ve never had the crispy fried onions on a Chinese before, but they were gorgeous. We tried ribs, salt and chilli chicken, beef in black bean sauce, curry sauce, chips, spring rolls, special fried rice, chicken satay Skewers. Everything was perfect. The lady was lovely too.

4. Really good Chinese takeaway food with a really friendly woman at the front of house. Had the mixed veg with garlic, beef in black bean sauce, chicken chow mein and the king prawn fried rice. All were cooked very well and tasted flavourful.

5. Two orders whilst having a two night stay in the nearby area. First extra spicy, second regular. Extra spicy certainly added something to the food. However, both were great and very good value for money with very short time from order to collection. Ordering over the phone easy. Cash/card payment I believe. No complaints at all. Would certainly recommend.
