Java Island

1. I needed something to bring down my body temp as I’m on a long bike ride (I was at over 30 miles at this point), pulled up, and ordered a coconut mocha chiller. This was better than anything I’d had from Starbucks! The staff was friendly and personable (the lady who took my order 😉). Order came fast and I was on my way. I highly recommend this business for frozen beverages ☕️ 😁

2. This place is the BOMB. The baristas never mind my silly orders, no matter what. Sometimes I feel like I’m throwing a surprise quiz at them, and they just ask if I want whipped cream with that (yes, always, thank you so much 😭). And then they always get my order right! It’s like a magic trick!

   I LOVE their seasonal flavors. They’re unique and fun! The cherry pistachio is my favorite, but I always look forward to the seasonal changes to try. My husband loves the zebra, and I was HOOKED on their Grinch chiller over Christmas.

   Also, they are unusually awesome with our dogs and somehow always spot them all even when we have a fourth (and one of my dogs is star struck by all people and usually hides in the far corner).

   Anyway, all this to say, I drive out of my way to go here, and I wish I had visited sooner.

3. I swing by here at least once a week. Great food options, friendly staff, and really great coffee. Beats Starbucks by a long shot

4. The breakfast burrito was $10 and it was equivalent to a gas station burrito.

5. Java Island has consistently good cold brew and espresso whereas our favorite craft coffee shop is very hit or miss. They’re open pretty late so they are our go-to for an evening caffeine fix!
