  1. Wonderful restaurant that took me by surprise. We started off with houmous and an aubergine dish – the aubergine was absolutely wonderful, one of the best dishes I’ve eaten out for a long time. Went with prawn skewers for my main course – they come shell on, with some rice and salad. Delicious, definitely would recommend. Solidly generous portion size too. For pudding we got the mixed baklava, but I think the best course would be the chocolate baklava. Friendly staff.

  2. Excellent restaurant, with lovely staff.
Food is genuine. The stuffed peppers are probably the best I’ve ever eaten.
The only reason I’m giving three stars for the atmosphere is that, at least on the evening we we there, it was very noisy and it was difficult to speak among ourselves at the table. There is even background music to add to it all. Despite this, I’m still giving five stars because of the food and service.

  3. It’s not my first visit (nor will it be my last). Food and service are both excellent. In with 2 friends who shared a veg messe, and the food just kept coming! I had a mixed Kebab, which was all great and nothing was overly expensive. With a couple of beers each and Turkish coffee all round, plus a decent tip we paid around £40 each, which for anything reasonable in Aberdeen centre is good. It’s a bit hidden away for someone visiting for a night but actually pretty close to Union Street and a lot of the mid range hotels.

  4. Food was amazing me and my wife shared two starters, halloumi and hummus starters, I had mixed chicken and lamb kebab, included two large pieces of each meat, onions and peppers, my wife had Ispannakli Tavuk, chicken pieces in a creamy white wine and mushroom sauce on sautéed spinach both came with a very tasty salad and rice. Our meat was cooked to perfection and we couldn’t fault anything. Very generous portions. All round good value for money £79 with bottle of wine. One small negative, gents bathroom in need of update but ladies was lovely and spotless. Would definitely recommend.
