Oat & Bean

1. A decent cuppa with good service. It’s a vegan coffee shop so they only do non dairy milk. Service was good and if you have mobility issues there is a ramp outside. I had oat milk with my tea which was fine. The atmosphere was a bit odd in that it didn’t feel a very cosy place. Lots of empty space, maybe they could do with a few more tables and some kind of dressing the room as the walls were quite bare. All in all though it didn’t spoil my visit. Accessible toilets are here too.

2. This is my new favourite place in Cardiff. The coffee is delicious, the food options are varied and very good price for the quality, and the space itself is absolutely gorgeous. The two servers are really lovely and give great recommendations as well. And the view is gorgeous with the museum just being straight outside of the large open windows! I love this place so much. (Ps please keep the kimchi special, it was amazing!)

3. Lovely little spot for a tasty coffee and delectable sweet treats!

   Nice and tucked away so it feels cozy but great to see it getting good traffic.

   Always brilliant service, love the trays the coffee comes on with a glass of water, such a nice touch!

   Decor is very welcoming and clean, a lovely environment to work in or just relax with friends.

   One of mine and my friends favourite coffee shops!

4. A real gem. I feel this coffee shop is how coffee shops used to be. Spacious, nice layout rather than as many tables squeezed in as possible.
   I’ve visited a few times now and the pastries have all been amazing, particularly the croissants, which I’ve seen baked on site. They’re massive pastries, always tasty. I also had a v bacon and cheese crossaint and my husband pancakes. He said the pancakes were the best he’s had since being vegan. Food is always presented well.
   Really good coffee and smoothies.
   The staff are lovely, very inviting and happy to answer any questions.
   Also dog friendly, always a plus!
   I visited in my wheelchair and found it accessible, and due to the spacious layout I didn’t have to constantly ask people to move.
   A favourite cafe.

5. Super close to the cardiff national museum which was very handy in the heavy rain! I had the kimchi pb toast which was delicious and now my new favourite combination, as well as the hot chocolate which was very smooth and delicious! My friend had the protein pancakes with vegan bacon which he said were very nice. Really nice atmosphere in the cafe and very friendly service. Many great lunch and snack options, will definitely visit again when in the area 🙂
