Platform 41 Coffee

1. When I’m travelling I’m often seeking out great coffee. I currently live in Seattle and it’s turned me in to a bit of a coffee snob (not really, but I appreciate a great cup of coffee). With that said I love to find small, independent shops focused on great coffee, food and service.

   This spot is that. The staff there were friendly and very accommodating. The shop is small, with just a few tables but offers great options for a bite including cold or warm sandwiches, and pastries.

   I opted for a prosciutto sandwich and a latte. And I’ll say it’s been my best latte so far, in Edinburgh! The prices are also great!

2. Came here as the place I wanted to go to was fully booked. I’m glad I did! Staff were friendly and seemed genuine, which was refreshing. Flat white was good, and the scrambled egg hit the spot. I will return when I’m back in Edinburgh. Oh and it was very well priced. The other places are a bit of rip-off.

3. Without a doubt one of the best coffee shops in Edinburgh. Amazing service, great atmosphere, vibe and really friendly chaps. One of the best coffees I’ve had in Edinburgh (ever), the panini and sweet treat was also fantastic! Cant recommend this place enough and I’ll certainly be back again.

4. What a wonderful little coffee shop!! First, the gentleman operating the place are so friendly and caring. Secondly, the coffee is excellent!! The food was delicious!
   Definitely will return, highly recommend

5. This place was in fact my hello and good-bye to Edinburgh. Three amazing gentlemen, making the best and the most delicious breakfast snacks and hot drinks. Perfect conversationalists, so polite and classy, warm and welcoming, gorgeous and caring, and absolutely clean. No wonder why they are so popular in town!
