  1. Very nice spot to have lunch when you’re in Edinburgh. The girls that worked there were super nice and chatty, love that! They served baked potatoes which I’ve wanted to try for the longest time. I had the one with spicy chicken and cheese, it was very tasty. I would have preferred if the potato had been fluffed up a bit before the addition of the toppings but that’s just personal preference. The beans and cheese on toast was very tasty as well. Would definitely recommend this spot!

  2. Note: if you go too early, some items will not be available! We were limited to the Breakfast and Morning Rolls sections – the wraps and paninis were unfortunately not available at the time we went.

A very cosy cafe for breakfast / brunch. They serve all kinds of cafe food that will fill your tummy for the day. Ambience was great as well!

The full Scottish breakfast was delightful – very flavourful and generous portion sizes. The haggis in particular was very tasty! The morning roll was actually just a bun with fillings, which we thought the name was a little misleading. Great brunch option as well for smaller eaters, as the ingredients are probably similar to those used in the full breakfast menu. Smoothie was also very refreshing and enjoyable.

  3. A brilliant little cozy coffee shop in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town. We had breakfast here twice in May 2024 and left each time with a smile and a very satisfied feeling. The typical Scottish breakfast and all other breakfast variants were super delicious. Plus either coffee, smoothies, tea, whatever your heart desires. Who would also like homemade cake? Everything prepared and served with a lot of love. The staff super friendly. When we come back it will be again our breakfast coffee shop, that’s for sure! Thanks a lot from germany!

  4. First meal in Edinburgh and the breakfast was absolutely tasty! The ingredients were really fresh and the sausage and bacon strips were on the point too! Will be back again whenever I’m back in Edinburgh!
