The Post House Cafe

1. My wife and I visited the Post House today for the first time and were very pleased with the quality of food and friendly service. The Post House burger was tasty beyond words and I have to say the best burger I have had in years. The Americano coffee was very good and served in a good sized cup. You need to go here hungry to appreciate the portion sizes. Would strongly recommend.

2. In fairness we visited a week when the chef was off, but this was very very poor. £9 for a dry chicken sandwich, with day old bread, is inexcusable. Scones are baked day before so need heated and were still poor. Coffee was fine if it had been hot but was tepid, and the customer behind me said exactly the same when he paid. So £18 for cool coffees and food we left half uneaten. Would not be back, that’s for sure.

3. Have had breakfast here a few times and am always satisfied with the food and friendly service. The new menu is packed with options, which are very well presented. Will have to get in for lunch sometime!

4. Extraordinarily good little cafe located just off the A26 main road through the charming village of Waringstown. Tasty varied main menu which includes delicious dessert offerings. It’s traditional “Ulster Fry” in particular is done to perfection and highly recommended. Free on road parking outside the premises. Prices a little above average but with it’s charm and food quality, worth it!

5. Adam the head chef cooked up a cracker of a breakfast for me off menu and was so fresh nice atmosphere personal feel definitely be back.
