VR Fire & Smokehouse

1. Went here on Friday evening for dinner for 2. Service was top class. Very friendly staff. The menu was extensive and very inviting. You can tell the owner is very passionate about what he serves. They also do brilliant thin crust pizza and had samples on the counter for all to taste. We had the pork belly burnt ends to start with duck wings. Michelin star taste. We then had the burgers. Best burgers I’ve ever tasted. Thanks so much to the staff. I’ve you’re just visiting put this on your list of places in Newry to sample the great food on offer. Also it’s bring your own bottle which I think is a brilliant idea

2. An unforgettable experience for our large stag party group… Each dish, from the succulent pulled pork to the mouthwatering ribs and burgers, surpassed our expectations. The service was impeccable, and the BYO option was a welcomed bonus. Sharing the experience with friends and family was a delight. Their reactions mirrored my enthusiasm as they savored every bite. Trusttttt me… they were not disappointed! VR Fire&Smokehouse continues to impress, making it a must visit for anyone seeking exceptional dining.

3. Came all the way from lurgan and got two meals which were absolutely amazing. Ordered for takeaway and got a phone call to say my order was ready to collect.
   Food was hot
   Fries 10/10
   And considering it was a takeaway very well presented can’t believe the burnt ends came with a well presented garnish.

4. Six of us went to the restaurant for the first time to try it out. The first thing you notice is the easy decor and perfectly appointed lighting creating an intimate but relaxed atmosphere. The staff are friendly, attentive and approachable. Bring your own booze is a great idea for this place because they are so chilled out and happy to cater for all.
   The food. Oh lord the food. Its simply Sensational. Cooked to perfection by a chef who clearly loves perfect food, presented with artistic precision. If you don’t eat here before you die, your life was in vain. Incredible.

5. Great to see a wee gem like this in Newry. Gorgeous decor and very friendly staff. Portion sizes are great. We got the smokehouse platter for two. Loved the variety of food in it. All cooked to perfection. Everything full of so much flavour even down to the corn ribs. Yum yum yum. Will defo be back.
